Fund Evaluators

Check Fund Performance

When purchasing investment trusts, it is recommended that you not only rely on information provided by the sellers but also check third-party sources and compare from various perspectives.

Using performance evaluations of investment trusts

In the United States where investment trusts are popular, performance evaluation has been widely utilized for a long time. In Japan as well, private evaluators have been established to gauge performance evaluations of investment trusts.
These rating organizations, from a third-party perspective, classify each investment trust based on its investment objective and investment policy, and then objectively evaluate the fund's performance, assigning ratings such as a number of stars.
However, it is important to note that performance evaluations may differ depending on evaluators, and since they are based on past results, there is no guarantee that the performance will continue in the future. The analysis results from investment trust performance evaluators are currently available not only in monthly economic magazines and quarterly journals but also on the Internet and other platforms.
